Result 9th EPS-TOPIK

MABUHAY! Congratulations! Sa lahat ng pasado sa   9th EPS-TOPIK !  To check your score: 1. Go to  ‘ www.eps.go.kr ’, click Mother Tongue Service, and then click Philippines (ENGLISH) 2. Click SIGN UP 3. Choose and Click: Passport Number + Birth date 4. Follow the instructions and then click NEXT 5. Make sure to click on each box (I agree) 6. Then start the SIGNING APPLICATION 7. Make your own ID and PASSWORD *Don’t forget to re-type your PASSWORD* and then click REGISTER A pop up message will appear saying “SUCCESS SAVED” and on the upper left, click “VIEW EPS TOPIK SCORE” 1. According to the site of  HRD-Korea ( http://epsklt.hrdkorea.or.kr ) the purpose of the test is:Promoting adaptation to Korean life by leading entrance of foreign worker who has basic understanding on Korea and evaluation of the level of Korean language skills of foreign job seekers and Korean society, It can be used as objective selection criteria for the list of foreign job seekers. For those who successfully pass the exam, composed of listening and reading, they will have a chance for employment in Korea. So the exam serves as a qualifier in getting a job. In the Philippines it is now the 8th EPS- KLT since it was introduced in 2008. Korea and the Philippines signed a bilateral agreement on the sending and receiving of workers through the Employment Permit System (EPS). PEBA 2010 and Model OFW Family of the Year Awards

I have been caught up with school work and good thing I can still engage with other extracurricular activities which we volunteers fondly call our real major and minor – that of writing for Sulyapinoy , the Filipino migrant workers ( EPS – Employment Permit System ) newsletter  and as elected officer of the newly formed FILIPOS – Filipino Photographers in South Korea, our foto club which have been very active and even a chapter now established in the  city of Busan. So after several months of no blog post and what I have been doing the past of cutting and pasting from emails, today finaly, I have a new blog post.   This year’s nomination for the 2010 Pinoy Expat/OFW Blog Award (PEBA) is coming to an end.
