Obama celebration in Seoul, ROK

This one another from my email box - wow celebration here in Korea, fantastic, wish I could go but it was so short notice...

Have fun Democrats of the world - in Korea specifically!

THE CELEBRATION CONTINUES THIS SATURDAY HBC ORANGE TREE 8:30.....

I look at this man we have just elected the next President of the United States…this visionary, this thinker, this dreamer, this community organizer, this idealist, this statesman, this diplomat, this leader…and I think to myself, Are we this lucky? Are we really this lucky? And it's finally beginning to sink in…yes we are. Because yes we did.

Thank you members of Democrats Abroad. Thank you Obama supporters. There are countless ways you have contributed to this historic campaign. You have done so with your hearts, your pocketbooks, your voices, and yes, with your votes. And so, as President Barack Hussein Obama said in his poignant acceptance speech, this victory is truly for you.

And now, it's time to celebrate! Or, continue celebrating, as the case may be. Since many of our fellow Obama supporters were sadly unable to join us for the revelry on the 5th, we are getting together this Saturday night at the Orange Tree to once again raise our glasses to our new president and to the future--because for the first time in a long time, it's looking pretty bright.

Date: Saturday, Nov. 8th

Place: Orange Tree, Haebangchon, Seoul

Time: 8:30pm ~

To get to the Orange Tree in Haebangchon, go out exit 2 of Noksapyeong Station, line 6. Walk straight down the road until you reach the first intersection where the road veers off to the left, by the kimchi pots. Walk up that road approx. 5 minutes. The Orange Tree will be on your right, on the second floor, above Indigo restaurant.

This gathering is open to Obama supporters of ALL nationalities…please bring your friends!

"If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible, who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time, who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer."

Indeed.

Proudly,

Kirstie Bromenshenk
