I was there at iblog8

Finally after years of signing-up and missing the summit I was able to make it last May 25-26, 2012. Yes I went there to represent and introduce my new blog about chocolate - http://pinoychocophile.blogspot.com 
I had fun and learned a lot from the speakers and other bloggers. Congratulations to Ms. Janet Toral, Flow Galindez and the rest of officers and staff of the summit, Mabuhay!

I have been successful in so many aspects of life and have accomplished much. I know that I could do so much more if I want to, but for the most part I find myself thinking ‘I don’t want to”.

I put it down to thoroughly enjoying the journey of life, and not fixating on one destination. I want to (and have) experienced so much that I resist pursuing one goal with any passion or enthusiasm. Living MY life is my passion, and perhaps that is where I am most successful.

Pepero Day 2008

I went to the bookstore yesterday and found a rack dedicated to pepero, nice boxes of beautiful sweets, mostly chocolate coated sticks. Every November 11 is Pepero day. It is one of Korea's many unique special day, well a bit commercialize but anyway I consider it saying thank you to female colleagues by giving them box of pepero. Well my blog is becoming a foto blog. I can't resist but capture the colors and scenes around after the dreary, snowless, and cold winter is a profusion of colors and the freshness of greens. This is the scene at the park now. Colorful lanterns adorn the pathway - to enlighten seekers of truth, maybe? Trees are full of flowers soon they will disappear.
