It is mt first anniversary with blogger.com. I can't beleive it was a year ago since I started this blog. So I really need to keep it up and be more conscientious, hehehe. I would really like to see myself posting more often here, especially with the goings on in my life, let's see, hehehhh... Beside me opf course is Maam Fedes. This pix was taken after the trip to a nearby coral where I saw a university (more than school) of big fishes circling in the depths, scene normally seen in National Geographic, my own sight of mine own national geographic really grafix ! The picture to the right another by Yvette, another favorite of course.

My last posting was April, obviously I was caught up with the summer vagabonding - as in Bohol lang naman. I was able to join my former office to Bohol. It was a memorable month of May for me. Grabe ang pagod we went and came back via WGA - Superferry, via Cebu so it was a bit hectic sched. Finally I have seen the chocolate hills, the very sensitive tarsier, the Loboc river, a dive in Panglao beach, also, dolphin watch. Well, pagdating ng Hunyo, ayon pasukan na syempre - kaya ang mga responsibilidad - hmmm... Trabaho na ulit - back to reality ba ! Ayon hanap ng trabaho pero wala pa rin palad, aba naman eh sinabihan ang isang agency may out of town att priority ang bakasyon kaya na-miss out ang isang interview opportunity. At naman ang kapalit... Ayon may internship pala na naghihintay. Pinatulan ang offer ng dating boss na mag-aaply at ayon pinalad at tinanggap ng The May 18 Memorial Foundation . May konting inaayos sa visa at sana naman ay maayos para makapag-aral at makapagbahagi ...

Aahh the pleasure of summer but the displeasure of my journal writing ! Well I am not so consistent writing my morning pages anymore and I am a bit guilty about it. Too bad. Anyway it is not the same life rhythm as it was before. I have to attend morning meditation, then I get caught up with breakfast group and asked to join folks here and there, hmmm... Enjoying the summer break just the same and at the same getting a bit nervous since the last centavo or is it halala is about to vanish in my pocket hehehe, I need to work. Anyway I still have to enjoy the last halala and my summer break.

Here at my former NGO Office meeting my friends and folks. Had breakfast with Luz and Beth at McDo and purchased bibingka as pasalubong for Joseph. I had pansit for lunch with them, and ice cream for snacks. Nothing haD CHANGEd, so they say. Yes even the taho, the mais and ice cream vendors, brings me back to the same voice that I used to hear 2 years and 6 months ago. Their salary did not increased as well, life is such and we have to continue living, and for me leaving this place, my country again hopefully so I have something to give my sister for her tuition fees. MUCH have remained though - the humor, the laughter, the zest for life, the commitment for social transformation seems to continue burning in them when I left. Well I look forward meeting the rest of the friends and acquaintances, tonite Jane and I will meet. So much to really post here and I really hope to find time to post them all here.

Yes, kinda blushing but flattered to be informed that some folks are reading my blog. Two nice folks at COMSOFIL have told me so. Anyway I have to post just the same. Well blushing because what i post are unedited spur of the moment -freewheeling write up. Okay today is my second day here in the Philippines, from the airport after dinner with the folks at Sta. Mesa i proceeded to the bust station at RCJ and boarded and ordinary bus that left at 9:30 PM. Heard commotion by a lady who was not brought to the destination she told she be brought. Then woke up with my jetlag unaware were we are, then another awakening to find out that the radiator of the bus is busted. Finally arrived home at about 8 AM and of course that's a delay of 3-4 hours i guess with the normal drive. Today I am here at the net cafe called Data Link here in Batac Ilocos Norte. I just came from the field to harvest my brother Nom's string bean for his thesis, with us is Tatay and Nannan. I went ahead them since...

Well, finally I am booked for my flight back home after 5 months of extension wow almost half a year... GRABE ! Anyway, finally I am coming home. I miss so much my 'kins, my family and my friends... COming home, ang saya, saya hehehe !

Yes I discovered this library and the free internet access here. Also they have a small stacks of English books, am reading the Arabic literature of course. Yesterday I visited the National Museum and spent 4 hours going through the exhibit - started with creation and ended up with the Pilgrimage and Hajj. Very excellent display - a world class indeed. Around the museum is a nice park and one adjacent being constructed a great way to attract people. What I particularly like is the rock art and arabic inscription on rocks - very nice indeed. Then I had a chance also to visit the exhibit on horses, such wonderful and noble creature. One painting that particularly struck me was of a white horse. The way its golden hair was painted looks like as if it was pluck from him/her and pasted in the canvass so real ! Also, I was able to get some materials for Andre, I hope he still like horses. Wow ! my first blog for 2005. I have several blogs already, even in Ilocano, I wonder how to blog so often. I have several articles to blog but don't find time to stay blogging, since I need to do the browsing and emailing. Maximize time ! Well I have not written my annual journal. The box is packed that contains my reference materials. So I hope to do it when I get back to Manila. Yes still stuck here in Saudi Arabia, but I am hopeful that this month of February I can go back and paly with my 'kins. 2004 was beneficial year for me, a mix of everything - a real life for me. And I have to learn all those lessons but gosh my memory seems so short to forget so often the lessons hahaha - well maybe I have attention deficit problem - I hope not Alzheimmers but I have to get a good neurologist to test me. Urologist even since am getting old, hehehe. So many things happened of course in 2004 and I look forward for the nicest and best things to happen again in 2005.

Hmmm... very bad! I am posting on a monthly basis hmmm... Well have a lot to post but I have to consider my net time and of course I have other things to do as well. I have to post recent pix taken with my first digital camera - there will be a second and a third I believe. So it will be Christmas and still here in Riyadh. It is winter and it is cold hehehe...

I wonder when I can be back home? My contract is finished over a month ago and the project is still on-going, wow, so does it mean we have to finish it. I suppose since only a few things are there to put to finish. Anyway, I have not done my travel yet so it is okay. I've been to the Eastern province - Hofuf or AL Ihsa for getting off on the wrong station, Dammam and Khobar. It was nice to be at the Corniche and write my journal, imagining I am in Luneta back home. The trip to Taif (to ride the cable car) and Jeddah (for an experience of Red Sea snorkeling) this coming Eid Holidays keeps me excited. I have to post here my speech projects for the Toast of COMSOFIL our toastmasters club, well I have to edit it first. Awaiting for my award - Competent Toast Master but I believe still lots of areas to improve on.

few more days... memories of KSA are abundant... happy, sad, mixed feelings, a continuum... and i will continue... moving on...
