How would life be like without mothers?

Mothers' Day Media, I think, should include Thank you Cards and a Situationer on the status of mothers around the world.

So much self-giving by mothers and women remain in limbo yet it is this force that gives the world a sense of hope.

To your mother, Pete, and to all the mothers in the world: "We are celebrating your virtues not only today but everyday. How will humanity thrive without mothers?"

Pepero Day 2008

I went to the bookstore yesterday and found a rack dedicated to pepero, nice boxes of beautiful sweets, mostly chocolate coated sticks. Every November 11 is Pepero day. It is one of Korea's many unique special day, well a bit commercialize but anyway I consider it saying thank you to female colleagues by giving them box of pepero. Well my blog is becoming a foto blog. I can't resist but capture the colors and scenes around after the dreary, snowless, and cold winter is a profusion of colors and the freshness of greens. This is the scene at the park now. Colorful lanterns adorn the pathway - to enlighten seekers of truth, maybe? Trees are full of flowers soon they will disappear.
